The hotel has 7 spacious bungalows with two floors. The first floor has a living area with table, chairs and two hammocks, as well as the bathroom with hot and cold water. The bedroom is in the second floor. Each bungalow has beds for four persons, with a choice beween a queen size bed and two singles, or four single beds.
Beach Hotel Celaje also has a bar and an open restaurant, which provides the three daily mails (choice menu: salads, fish, meat, pasta). The owner, and cook, gives the products from her own garden a Belgian taste.
The swimming pool has a large and a small bath. Everything is located in a pleasant garden.
Location
Celaje is located on Peninsula de Nicoya, directly at the beach. It can be reach by way of Puntarenas - Cobano - Montezuma - Cabuya.
Activities
The tip of the Peninsula de Nicoy is an authentic part of Costa Rica, where time seems to have come to a hold. You can make long walks, enjoying the untouched nature and active animals.
If you’re into sports, you can rent mountainbikes, go horsebackriding, or glide along the canopy. You can even go out with the local fisherman to catch your own fish. Ocean kayaks are for rent near Isla Cabuya, close to Celaje, where the snorkling is really nice too.
The trip to Isla Tortuga comes highly recommended: a tropical island in the Pacific, where you can enjoy the underwater life by snorkling. If you’re lucky, the dolphins will visit. And the fish BBQ on the beach is just great!
