Location
Dos Palmas is situated at a driving distance of 2 minutes from the international airport Juan Santamaría, near several rent-a-cars. San José is close. Dos Palmas is between Alajuela and Heredia.

Activities
Thanks to its central position you can explore a lot of things from Dos Palmas. A day in San José for example. But there are also some highlights at close distance: the crater of the active Poás volcano is only one and a half hour away. To be sure to see all the specialities from Costa Rica’s flora and fauna, you can visit the Waterfallgardens, Amigos de Ave (birds) and a Butterfly Farm. For the active people a rafting tour can be arranged on the rivers Sarapiquí and Pacuare.
And your souvenirs? You buy them in Sarchí, a nice tour to a small Costa Rican town.
