Monte Terras is situated on a beautiful quiet spot alongside Lake Arenal. The view is stunning: in the distance you see the volcanoes Arenal and Tenorio. With the telescope you can even see the lava bubbling over Arenal’s edge. Across the lake you can see the lights of the village of Nuevo Arenal at night. And of course the stars… here it is really dark!
If you stay at Monte Terras B&B, a delicious breakfast will be served on the terrace. On request lunch and dinner are also available, but there are restaurants at a driving distance of 5 - 10 minutes. At Monte Terras Cabinas, we offer a breakfast service. We will bring the breakfast of your choice on the time you like to your cabina. A relaxed way to start the day.
Location
Monte Terras is situated on the edge of Lake Arenal, in the village of Tronadora. From this place you have a wonderful view over the lake and on the volcanoes Arenal and Tenorio.
Activities
From Monte Terras you already have a fantastic view over Lake Arenal. But if you go a little further… volcanoes Arenal and Rincon de la Vieja are within reach. And in the spectacular Monte Verde cloud forest you can make a canopy tour and take a walk across high bridges to see the most rare bird-species.
Other activities are: making tours to waterfalls, swimming, rafting or windsurfing. Lots of things to do here! And if you want to relax completely, ask hostess Willeke to give you a massage.

- Cabina per night (max. 2 persons) US$ 45 and breakfast US$ 4 p.p.
