Location

The location of our lodge is on the most beautiful piece of the Isla Colón, on the only sandy beach where you will probably be the only tourist, and also directly on the edge of the rainforest. We have a botanical garden with a pond, where breakfast, lunch and dinner will be served. In the right season you can spot leatherbacks just outside our frontdoor!

Activities

  • Leatherback spotting (600kg), sea turtles laying their eggs in front of our hotel on the beach (from end of March to end of June, depending on the wheather).
  • Dolphin tour by boat.
  • Boat trip to the coral reefs with the most beautiful snorkeling locations.
  • Boat trips to Birdisland where you cannot get ashore, but from the boat you can see many species of birds with their young on the nest.
  • Scuba diving or diving lessons.
  • Fishing or spearfishing.
  • Horseback riding.
  • Bicycle tour to the other side of the Island Bocas del Drago.
  • Visit to Starfishbeach, a beautiful beach with orange starfish.
  • Visit to an Indian village on various other islands.
  • Visit to Redfrog Beach on the Island of Bastimentos.
  • Dartpoison frog tour to various islands, each island has its own (colour of) dartpoison frog.
  • Jungle hikes.
  • Catamaran day tours.
  • Daytour to the Panama canal. You will fly in the morning, 45 minutes to Panama, then 10 minutes by taxi. The same afternoon you will be back.
  • Language courses at the language school

US$ 85 and US$ 95 per room, or family room for US$ 150 (2 spacious rooms with a big bathroom).
