A visit to Tree House is a special experience. You will stay at Edart’s place in the “treehouse” or one of the other houses situated on his ground. These are luxurious houses in combination with nature and creativity. In the Beach Suite there is even a jacuzzi. Tree House Lodge is situated in the Coandoca-Manzanillo wildlife refuge. There is a private beach, 300 mts long, and the houses are surrounded bu 3 hectares of botanical gardens with a lot of privacy. The houses are built in a sustainable way, so no trees have been cut down to build the houses. Almost all the wood comes from fallen trees. Water is being heated with sun energy boilers.
Location
You will find Tree House 5 kms south of Puerto Viejo (Limon) 200 meter after the traffic hump, the first entrance on you left hand side.
Iguana Verde
On the ground of Tree House the foundation Iguanaverde is established. This foundation is supported from, among others, the revenues of Tree House Lodge. A visit to the Iguanaverde Foundation is highly recommended. Here you can see iguanas being born, grow and later being put back into nature. Edsart will be pleased to show you around. Ouwehands Zoo in Rhenen, the Netherlands, helped to realize this special project.
But you can also visit Gandoca Manzanillo Refuge, go rafting or make a canopy tour.
