Day 1 - Dos Palmas Airport in Alajuela
After arriving at Juan Santamaría International Airport in Alajuela, close to the capital city San José, Peter or Flor from hotel Dos Palmas will pick you up. From there it is a 5 min. drive, after which you can relax and acclimatize to the tropical Costa Rica.

Day 2 / 4 - El Mono Feliz in Ojochal
In the morning your rental car will be brought in and you go south. Here you will find the cozy cabañas of El Mono Feliz. Always wanted to see whales and dolphins? This is your chance. You can also choose a trip to beautiful Corcovado National Park. Or relax and enjoy the beach, the beautiful nature and the birds.

Day 5 / 6 - Mar de Luz or Playa Bejuco (choice between the two) in and around Jacó
You can visit Manuel Antonio National Park, or take a trip in a boat on the crocodile river. And after that: relaxing on the beach.

> Mar de Luz is situated in the nice beach village of Jacó. It is a cozy family hotel with good facilities.
> If you go for more luxury you choose for Playa Bejuco. Chef Henri prepares the most wonderful meals for you. A quiet place on walking distance from the beach and only 25 min. by car south of Jacó.

Day 7 / 8 - Monte Terras in Tronadora
Then you will go to Lake Arenal. You sleep in a cheerful cabina at Monte Terras. From here you can make trips e.g. to Arenal Volcano where you can relax in a Hot Spring, and to Monteverde cloud forest. A relaxing massage is also possible.

Day 9 / 10 - Aroma de Campo in Curubandé
You go further north and you will stay in a colorful room at Casa Rural Aroma de Campo. On the programme are beautiful walks, e.g. to the waterfall. You can also go horseback riding or enjoy a nice mud bath, or relax in a hammock.

Day 11 / 12 - Celaje or Fidelito Ranch (choice between the two) on the Peninsula of Nicoya
These days you will spend on the Peninsula of Nicoya. Here you can enjoy the sun and the beach for a few days. Or take a boat to a desert island? The choice is yours.

> Fidelito Ranch Fidelito Holiday Ranch is situated on 2,5 kms of the 7 kms long sandy beach of Playa Tambor, in the Ballena whale bay. It is built in hacienda style, and surrounded by woody hills, an excursion on the 60 ha Ranch is included. Within 20 minutes you are in the private wildlife park of Curu with the famous island of Tortuga to go snorkling or kayaking.
> Hotel Celaje is situated somewhat more to the south on the tip of the Nicoya Peninsula, and 2 kms from Costa Rica’s oldest national park ‘Cabo Blanco Reserva’. The hotel is directly on the beach, with a wonderful view over the ocean. Here you can spot playing whales and dolphins, and also enjoy the Belgian beers and the Belgian cuisine.

Day 13 - Dos Palmas Airport in Alajuela

The last day you will be at Dos Palmas again. Enjoy the porch and the pool once more and reflect your holiday. Don’t forget to hand in the rental car in time.

Day 14
Departure from San José, you will be taken to the airport.

It goes without saying that from each hotel various daytrips are possible. Here we made a selection from them. Prices are based on 2 persons. Do you travel with more persons, do you want to stay shorter or longer in some of the hotels, or shorten or lengthen your trip? That is possible.
